• Perform technical field tree work, including tree inspections, health diagnosis, decay detection, and tree care maintenance.

• Assist Arborists with tree inventory data collection, mapping, Form 1 and Form 2 inspection field records.

• Execute practical tree management tasks such as crown pruning, cabling, soil conditioning, and pest/disease control under supervision.

• Support emergency tree work and perform ad-hoc field operations as assigned

Academic Qualifications & Experience (Must meet one of the following combinations):

• Pathway 1 (Degree Route):

  • University Degree in Arboriculture or related discipline AND

  • Minimum 3 years full-time working experience in arboriculture gained in Hong Kong.

• Pathway 2 (Diploma Route):

  • Recognized Diploma in Horticulture or related arboriculture field (HKQF Level 3 or above) AND

  • Minimum 4 years full-time working experience in arboriculture gained in Hong Kong.

• Pathway 3 (Professional Qualification Route):

  • Qualification or certification from a recognized professional institute equivalent to ISA Certified Arborist or above AND

  • Minimum 5 years full-time working experience in arboriculture gained in Hong Kong.

Note: Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Tree Technician.
