• Oversee and supervise site operations, including tree pruning, removal, cabling, and routine vegetation maintenance under government/commercial contracts.

• Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) guidelines and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all tree operations.

• Assist in routine tree risk monitoring, Form 1 and Form 2 inspections, and documentation review.

• Handle site coordination, follow up on tree/vegetation complaint cases under contract purview, and execute ad-hoc tasks assigned by Senior Arborists.

1. Academic Qualifications (Must meet one of the following):

• Obtained Level 2 in at least 5 subjects (including Chinese Language, English Language, and either Biology or Geography) in HKDSE; OR

• Holder of a recognized Bachelor’s Degree.

2. Professional Certifications & Training:

• Registered Tree Work Supervisor under the Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel (RSTMP) of the Development Bureau (DEVB).

• Received training on Tree Risk Assessment (TRA) with a minimum of 6 months practical experience on TRA.

• Completed relevant training in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) relating to tree work operations.

3. Working Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in vegetation maintenance / arboriculture works (3 years for Degree holders).

Note: Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Tree Work Supervisor.
