HKILA Young Landscape Architects’ Group (YLAG) has been successfully formed under HKILA.

The First Group Gathering will be held on the August 31st. with the following details:

Hong Kong Typhoon Vicente (Signal No.10) Brought heavy damages to thousands of street trees (2012.07.24)


HONG KONG – 24 July, 2012 . A strong typhoon hit Hong Kong overnight, leaving scores injured, hundreds of trees felled and many flights cancelled or delayed. Car crushed under fallen trees following Super Typhoon Vicente. The Observatory raised its highest tropical cyclone warning T10 as an intensifying severe typhoon edges closer towards to Hong Kong. Safety is important to reduce the number of tree felling accident with the urban streetscape. Preventative action is the key. See More.
